the youngest son of

Richard Gilder (Gilly) Palmer & Anne Spring Alsop Gilder

Palmer. 

 Reese’s father, Gilder Palmer, was the oldest son of Walter Walker Palmer and Helena Francesca Gilder, the second youngest daughter of Richard Watson Gilder and Helena de kay Gilder, founders of Gramercy Park and the historic Four Brooks Farm in Tyringham, Massachusetts.

A relative of Chicago American businessman Potter Palmer,

husband of Bertha, the Palmer family originated in Stonington,

Connecticut. 

 Reese is the fourth generation to own and live at

Four Brooks Farm and has been a caregiver to three generations of

the Palmer and Gilder de Kay families. Known for his kind heart

and compassion, Reese is an avid biker, photography artist, poet,

runner, and humanitarian. He is the oracle of ancestral history in this noted American family.
